A Terraced Family Garden.

Our clients came to us wanting to integrate both their lower and upper gardens, whilst also creating a space to relax as a family and entertain. We needed to create a shaded area and a formal lawn. They also wanted a contemporary feel to harmonise with their barn conversion. To do this we used Gabion walling to create a protected and secluded patio area. We then used natural sandstone paving and river cobbles to soften the structure. Planting and trees were then added to bring the surrounding nature back into the space. At night the terrace comes alive with beautiful pools of light.
